I rent nowadays.
That wasn’t the case in the past. I lived a very different life back then. I live very much in the moment now, because the thoughts that arise when I don’t live in the moment still scare the shit out of me. Don’t worry though, I’m working on it!
In the meantime, I want to share a happy post. One of immens gratitude and love for a place that I now call home. I’d like to welcome your to the house I’ve been renting since this summer.
It’s a cosy, two bedroom home with a small garden and a garage that’s too small for a car, but big enough for a whole lot of extra’s!
It’s not easy to find homes like these in this area, but this one kind of fell out of the sky for me at a reasonably affordable monthly rent price.
That is something I am immensely grateful for. It is all I could wish for in this new phase of my life.
Right… you’re probably fed up with the gushy intro and eager to look at some pictures!
This is what it looked like before I moved in:
And this is what it looks like now:
What do you think? Can you feel my cosy home life vibe? I hope so!

Do let me know if you enjoyed this post - as it is very different - from others I have posted here on Substack. Also…. I’m planning to start something new… it has to do with bridging gaps between people through storytelling. Would you be interested to know more about that?
Feel free to let me know in the comments please!
PS. I’m saving up to buy a bike like the one in the picture! By subscribing to my posts you could help me get one by next spring!
Yes, really cosy, love it! 🤍
Such a calm and peaceful vibe in your home! ☮️🩵
