You’re one of my favourites here, Mies, together with Miranda ( it doesn’t want to hashtag 🙄). Is it a Benelux thing😇, just kidding. I read your story quickly, going to read again later when I have more time and hopefully something more useful to say. But I know where you are and life will smile again, pinky promise, get back later 💙
Just found this lovely post through a mention on another site and I can relate on so many levels. I’m navigating midlife or as someone recently said the messy middle, began writing again two years ago after a long hiatus and working toward what comes next. It certainly is easier when you find others on the same path. Loved that you used the photo of an earlier time.
Thank you for sharing your story. It takes courage to be this vulnerable and open, especially online and publicly. So glad I found your inspiring post. I’m also navigating my way through midlife, starting again in my writing journey and hopefully, this time, towards personal and financial success. I wish the same for you. 🙂
We're on a very similar path you and I Lea, let's remember we don't have to do it alone and that there is still so much out there for us in and after midlife! Big virtual hugs <3 and thanks for dropping by my substack!
Was planning to make one, and will now definitely do it! 🙌 great idea!! X
Here’s a great free guide from my former coach

Have you ever made a visionboard? If not, it’s a great way to get clear on where life should lead you.
Did that once and it is indeed wonderful!

Isn’t it great when we find kindred spirits and companions on our similar journeys? I appreciate you and your words, Mies. 💗
